Parents often are not even able to guarantee their own family’s survival. They are confronted with the tragic but unavoidable decision to allow their children to work, or in the worst case are forced to abandon or even sell their children.
The children often end up in a degrading life of prostitution and/or drugs. Children are the future of all nations and societies. . What meaning do environmental programmes or the rescue of flora and fauna have when future generations are condemned to poverty, misery and despair?
